Cotto is weighing his options can't blame him. If floyd offers more money he would take it. Not the fight I wanna see but i understand from a buisness point of view.. He fights Canelo then no chance at a floyd rematch.. You fight Floyd then Canelo fight is always gonna be there.. Makes sense financially for Cotto.

You can call it that needs him
          THIS.

Canelo will not beat Cotto so I am hoping this fight gets made. Truth is, Canelo is the one providing the cloaked "duck" by playing hard to get and pretending not to understand the politics of B side. Sign for your B-side 30% and take your whooping like a man. "peeleft:

Lol, how true! 2015 will either bring Cotto vs Canelo or Cotto vs Mayweather in a rematch.

Canelo vs. Golovkin on May 2 would be better anyway.

Top Rank is negotiating 2 of the biggest fights for 2015 and still can't get it done. If Schaefer was still with Golden Boy this fight would have either happen already or we would have a deal in place.

Why is it every time Top Rank is negotiating with another promoter this keeps happening? Google any fight in the past between Golden Boy and Top Rank and you will see that the fight was either called off at some point, never happened, or negotiations took a really long time

Like I said...Cotto had better make a move or Canelo will step on and have another opponent within a month's time. In a Mayweather rematch, he won't be the a-side and his diva demands will get tossed to the curb.

Canelo cotto is a bigger fight than mayweather cotto and cotto being A side in that fight would make alot more money and he could put in a rematch clause if he lost and make even more money the second fight. If they split 1/1 and the fights live up to their hype then they can have a trilogy. If cotto wins the first he can fight mayweather again which would be even bigger or rematch canelo and make even more money. Cotto canelo is the smart choice, nobody is clamoring to see mayweather cotto again. It would probably do about 1 million ppv buys which ShowTime would lose money on even if they paid cotto 2 million, now against canelo I would imagine he'd get around 15 million, there's no way duckweather could match that given his 32 million dollar guarantee which ShowTime is losing big money on.
