all he has to do, from a historical standpoint, is call that man out and see if he accepts the challenge, and from what i see, i think he's putting the pressure on the exact target which is money mayweather...i can respect that...

Last time I checked it was Floyd that offered Manny the fight twice. Now is it too much for Manny to put pressure on his team to make the fight? You even have Freddie Roach saying they blew it the first go around. It's time for Manny to stop playing politician with these public statements and man up to his promoter.

Also bob arum was 100 percent right about what he said, the date has no meaning to Floyd because he's mot Mexican so it doesn't have to be on that date, and also arum said in the same press conference he wouldn't stop the fight from happening if arum insisted on fighting on may 2nd

Or at least have a clause in his contract that would allow him to seek out a bout(s) that his promoter is unable to secure...instead of a binding contract where Bob and no one else has the final say. Thats the part i dont understand from Pacs most loyal fans, you would think they would want to see Pac in better match ups

I don't give a crap what date they fight on but my point is mayweather shouldn't either it doesn't hold any signifigance to him because he's not Mexican. He has fought on other dates in the past and if canelo cottongets signed which its looking like it will, mayweather will he forced to fight on another date anyways. Arum made it clear when he took the stand about the date that he wouldn't stop the fight if mayweather stuck to that date, so if mayweather insists I would hope arum gives in but mayweather shouldn't be insisting on fighting on a certain date if he really wanted the fight so bad, especially when it holds no significance to him. It is actualy more of a roadblock because canelo is a Mexican and he wants to fight on that date with cotto who bob arum would be representing in that fight. Now if canelo cotto make the fight for 5/2 and mayweather walks away saying that the date was the problem, well he better damn fight someone else on that date. There's only one problem, there's no way in hell ShowTime will have mayweather vs khan go head to head with canelo vs cotto so he wont fight in that day either way. So why doesn't he just stfu and make the fight happen, Mann already agreed to lesser purse and testing and all that stuff. I don't want either side to walk away from this fight over something as insignifigant as the date. This is the fight the whole world wants to see and it is needed for the good of boxing so whichever side walks away from negotiations over a ****** date will be to blame especially if all other stipulations are agreed upon
