Pacquiao is not one dimensional he is probably the most versatile fighter in the game actually. And no not every mutual fighter picks mayweather. De la Hoya said its 50/50 and that pacquiao gave him the worst beating of his career. Cotto also said it was 50/50 and look how bad of a beating pacquiao gave him, I mean he was literally crying before the 11th round begging his corner not to make him go back out. Marquez picked Floyd of course because he's salty Manny beat him so many times and he felt he was robbed. That's why he resorted to hiring convicted steroid dealer angel heredia to juice up, that's the only way he could beat Manny.

i know he's not, i was using that as an example to what people feel. a lot of people look at manny as a one dimensional basic fighter. so why would the fighters that have fought both floyd and manny, pick manny to win? of course they're going to pick the more superior fighter to make their lost to that fighter look more meaningful.

Such a big fight why bring another obstacle to negotiations? Arum/Pacquiao said no excuses and they'd do their best to get the fight done. Arguing over the date is doing their best or more likely another attempt to piss Mayweather off and prevent the fight?

There are talks going on already between those two camps. May 2 is for Mexicans Holiday suited for Alvarez fight day. Being said that, you know Arum invested on that fight. You think he'll pass on one of the biggest pay cut of his entire life if he can't make Floyd and Manny materialized? Hence he went straight to the head of CBS. If Moonves can back his statement up by saying he can make it happen. Then there is no way May can refuse what ever date Moonves tells him to fight.
