Only had a dozen fights and been put flat on his back a few times.

Great skills but a knockout waiting to happen i believe.

His presence in the pro game has artificially enhanced this era of fighters to coincide skill wise with those of the 2000s.
what do you mean we're lucky? He fights once or twice a year and has had one truly world class opponent lol

The different promoters and networks sometimes make these fights hard to make but Rigo will fight any 122 pounder in the world. He proved that by fighting Donaire when Donaire was knocking everybody out.
I call that a complete bull****. Rigo should be ranked somewhere in the top 10. The other guy? Never, not now. He will be exposed when he fights non-tomato cans. He doesn't belong anywhere close to a top fighter.

Let's not also forget that Rigo had one stinker against King Kong, who uncharacteristically did not engage, did not want to be there and that's not how he fought against Mares and Vic. Rigo didn't even use his legs against Agbeko.

So Rigo has one ugly fight after Donaire and all of a sudden he's unwatchable, what changed? HBO loved him, they hyped him up, then he beats the darling that Donaire was and has one bad fight and he is blacklisted for life, in the States that is.

Meanwhile we could keep an eye on guys like Carlos Molina, Ishe Smith, Vanes, K9, Gary Russell Jr, Lara, Thurman (since his last fight was atrocious), Bute, Ward, Dirrell and so on and so forth.
He didn't have to, the people in the arena did.

Meh, I'm more excited about Naoya Inoue after a stellar 2014 and positioned to fight the best in the world. Not only that but his talent is top notch with a ridiculous resume at only 8 fights and become a 2 weight world champion within the same calendar year at 21... Oh, the best part is he has immense talent and skill to outbox his opponents over a comfortable 12 round UD... But actually goes after the kill when the opportunity arises

He's the best fighter in the world P4P.

You can look at the amateur achievements or what he done as a pro in the space of his first 12 fights or you can just look at him as a fighter; the skill level is frightening, his defence is unreal, he's lightning fast, he hits hard, his footwork is second to none....just the complete fighter.
