Yes with 200 mill in purses you're looking at a fight generating 400 mill in revenue. 3 mill buys at 100 a pop is already 300 mill. Add in sponsors (there will be a TON, btw), 35-40 mill gate, and you're almost there. This fight is bigger than the sport. People i work with have no clue about boxing, but when i bring up may-pac everyone gets excited. Its a phenomenon.

Now you're guessing that it will be $100 PPV and a 40 mil gate to make up for your silly exaggerated numbers.Yes with 200 mill in purses you're looking at a fight generating 400 mill in revenue. 3 mill buys at 100 a pop is already 300 mill. It WILL be 100 a pop, that has already been determined. Please go do some research on the subject and come back to me. Showtime's initial guarantee was 80 mill, that is a starting point. Negotiations from the Mayweather camp could easily bring that up to 100.
Edit: I'd pay 2 bills for this fight for the record.Comment

Yup .... Floyd fans are here trying to downplay those comments made by Dan because it shows that Floyd is the one making it hard AGAIN!!!Yeah I posted this in another thread a couple days ago. Apparently they have better sources than fat dan lead boxing writer at ESPN, what a joke. In my opinion it became obvious floyd did not want the fight after that joke of a offer in may 2012. Anyone with 2 brain cells that understands the boxing business should be able to see what kind of an offer that was. I mean manny pacquiao deserves a smaller split than miguel cotto got?! smh

You have a SIG on something that is taken out of context or should I say, on a conversation between Floyd and Arum which never happened.
Yet you are trying to downplay what Dan said.
Dan said that the last time he verified, the negotiations were going in one direction and that not even the CEO of CBS can get Floyd to the table.
