i think this guy is somehow less liked than stevenson

its close but stevenson is actually a good fighter which kinda makes it worse that he keeps ducking. quillin looks like another berto type of hyped up fighter who is trying to extend his career by carefully cherry picking. stevenson even if he lost a big fight to a top guy has the talent to come back and win again. quillin probably not.

The media should be spending their time on fights that can realistically happen. They're wasting their time on this irrelevant guy. It's almost 2015 and we don't need this crap.

It's a senseless way to start the new year, focus on the worst and ugliness of boxing. It's depressing. Sometimes one wonders what this media is there for. They're too passive.

He should be liked less than Stevenson. He should be liked a lot less than Stevenson. Stevenson at least has done something and defends his belt. Yeah he ducked Kovalev, but at least he had someone else in mind and just ended up getting screwed.

Quillin is a coward. If anyone ever wondered if it's possible for a coward to professionally box, Quillin's proof it is possible. He's the worst role model in the entire sport of boxing and the epitome of why the sport is looked down upon. How is it possible to like any fighter less than this punk coward?

Yeah I haven't seen this guy fight anyone challenging. The best fighter I seen him fight was N'diam or whatever the hell his name is. That guy was pretty tough. Took all them knockdowns and kept fighting. I was expecting Quillin to actually fight GGG. Guess not.

See this is where the Haymon problem ends up. I am not sure what type of riches he promises guys he signs, but it is going to implode.

His biggest star is floyd. Floyd will not remain around forever. All these other guys have inflated views of themselves and were promised riches. The well is not bottomless and eventually the rest of the networks will cut back just like HBO has. No company or network is into throwing money away with no return. Eventually it will stop. Then you will have 100+ fighters looking for million+ paydays, and no network willing to shell out the cash. Then what will happen?

We will end up with tons of fighters sitting on a shelf claiming they were blacklisted by the networks. Just wait and see. It is just a matter of time.

Haymon is another example of black on black crime. He takes these poor, uneducated black fighters (and few of other races) and promises them riches. Like anything in life, when you're dumb as a rock, you'll believe anything. Hayman is manipulating these guys and robbing them of their money. This will all explode soon and fighters will be running to a true promotor for help.

I used to like Kid Chocolate, but this has become too much. There has got to be someone that tells him he can't say things like this. Golovkin has headlined and sold out his last how many fights? Quillen has never even been a Co-Main Event. A Co-Main Event people!

Peter has never been ANYTHING. His claim to fame is getting beat by a horrible fighter in Rosado. He couldn't even get past Rosado and he knows that his heart and skill would get eaten alive, by top talent like GGG.

so how is this guy still gonna be a money fight? He dropped his belt. Undefeated record. Decent KO percentage.

Who wants to fight Quillin now? What does he bring to the table exactly? He hasn't headlined shows either. Is Quillin really going to get a payday higher than 1.4m for fighting someone for no belt?

With Floyd, a lot of buys come from people who want to see a KO, but really it's the fact that Floyd been in the game 20+ years including the Olympics + he already had established a following early in his career... Guys like Quillin are coming out of no where with no established following and want 5 million per fight, It's the entertainment biz!!

Exactly, floyd is an Olympian from a boxing family. He's been a star ever since he turned pro. He was a beast in the lower divisions and was constantly calling out the big names looking for that big name that would get him his first big money fight. He worked to get to where he is at now 20+ years later. It took floyd 11+ years to get his big pay day vs de la hoya......11 YEARS!!! Clowns like Peter, think they should get it, in 2-years, fighting bums.

What's wrong with Khan? he's fought, Alexander, Collazo, Garcia, Maidana, Peterson, Judah, Malignaggi. How many other fighters are willing to step in the ring with anyone like Khan? And When khan steps in the ring he shows signs of brilliance and when he comes across advertsity he fights through it and would rather go down swinging than run and clinch.
