What are you talking about, arum always gives the fans the fights they want to see that's why HBO kicked ass in the ratings this year. He doesn't protect his fighters records... He even said bad things about Mikey Garcia because he ducked gamboa. He said Mikey Garcia just wants a paycheck and doesn't want to fight hard fighters and that he expects him to hand him a pacquiao fight. Also he patched up relations with golden boy. Arum has always been good for the sport and good for his fighters too. He paid Tim Bradley 2 million to fight Diego Chavez lol that was more than the total purses paid on the ShowTime card the same night

How is mayweather cotto 2 more interesting? We already saw that and it wasn't a close fight. Canelo cotto are two brawlers and its a 50/50 fight and we haven't seen it. I could see if mayweather never fought cotton or if it was a really close fight or if Manny wasn't emvlbarrasing mayweather with a foot locker commercial but this is just pathetic and I expect a huge backlash from the fans and a boycott of that fight

I'm ok with Cotto fighting Canelo, Floyd or GGG. They are all good fights. I think that Miguel Cotto beats Canelo by UD or late stoppage and has a very realistic/legitimate chance of beating Floyd this time around. Vs GGG it will be a very difficult fight for Cotto, due to GGG size and really good foot work and being able to cut the ring on Cotto, but hey, we know Cotto can box as well as brawl so who knows.

Canelo will demolish Cotto, his style and skills aren't suited to beat someone like Canelo, He'll get outboxed worst than the first fight against Floyd, Floyd totally outlashes guys in rematchs. and GGG size and power would end his career, he doesn't have the footwork to stay away from thos punches.

Cotto vs Mayweather was a great fight. Cotto forced Floyd to "out-fight" him as opposed to "out-boxing" him like he does all other opponents. Floyd had to dig to get that one.

Floyd going up to 160 (no catchweights) to try to get the MW crown from Cotto would actually be a great option B if the Pac fight doesnt get done.

I could care less if cotton rematches Floyd,but there's just one issue that I would have with it. Would it be for cottos middleweight title? Because even if it was at a 155 lb catch weight,Floyd wouldn't be able to make that weight,and he honestly has no business fighting for a title at a weight he REPEATEDLY said he would never fight at. I'd only be fine with it happening if he would unify with golovkin in September for his last fight,but everyone knows that Floyd would drop that belt faster than a crack head getting caught by the police with 10 kilos on him.
