i just don't see why so many people don't think want to see this. the first fight was very good and very competitive. cotto looks much better going into this fight than he did the first one and mayweather looks to be slipping.

No, Floyd will do what he did in Maidana II...stick and move, use his feet and keep Cotto at the end of his jab. Cotto will lose a UD 8-4 in a very boring fight most likely. Remember, Floyd's legs are not messed up....just saying that he will be mobile and able to move...much like Trout was. This will be a giant waste of cashola, I'd rather see Cotto-Canelo. His style is better suited to provide an all-action, close-quarters war with Cotto.

I hate a Cotto-Mayweather fight because Mayweather might become the lineal middleweight champion of the world while GGG who has been the best middleweight in the world for years will have to wait more before he can get a chance to be the lineal champ. Mayweather has two 154 pound belts he won years ago from Cotto and Canelo at 152. He hasn't defended these belts and he won't give them up so all the 154 pound contenders have no chance to win his belts. What would he do with a 160 pound title? Maybe give GGG a fight for the 160 pound title at a catch weight of 148 pounds? If Canelo wins the 160 title from Cotto I believe he will defend it against GGG even though he will lose that fight. Good champions fight their top contenders and Canelo would be a good champion.

Canelo will fight in regular HBO. He is a spoiled brat kicking and screaming I'm Mexican. Cotto vs Canelo is a better fight. Canelo will do a margarito on Cotto. Canelo can't outbox a punching bag, Lara, Trout, Floyd. He's too young too strong for Cotto. So look forward to Canelo vs a Lee type of fighter on regular HBO. I'm looking forward to Mayweather and Pacquiao leaving boxing for good.

The first fight was competitive but not close and Cotto is nearing the end. Hence why it is another low risk type of fight that Floyd prefers.
