Saying Floyd is A side vs Manny and that means Manny should just accept all terms is like saying cotto is A side vs Canelo so Canelo should accept a 20 percent split and all the other ****** demands. Terrible comparison. Stop kidding yourself. At the time Floyd fought DLH, he was no where near As big a draw as pac is now. Pac is a global star. You think floyd would generate the kind of money fighting anyone else than he would fighting pac? I believe Floyd is the "a side" but to say he gets to dictate ALL terms is bs. Pac is a big drawer now? No he's not. He's not even reaching half a million PPV buys for his last 3 fights. Let's be real- you are only as good (or as big) as your last fight. Floyd pulled twice as many buys as Pacquaio for his last fight (although admittedly not over a million).

Mayweather being twice as big a draw as pacquiao is a fair comparison to the kind of numbers that oscar was doing in comparison to mayweather before they fought.

Yes I mentioned he chose the gloves when that was obligatory, my bad, but it doesn't take away a lot from my point that DLH chose as much as he could to favour himself.

Do not explain your self. De La Hoya did choose the gloves. The gloves were 10 ounce due to the weight, but De La Hoya forced Mayweather to fight in the same name brand as himself.
