I miss the days when the face of boxing made the big fights..

oscar and arum had no problems landing tito, shane, vargas, hopkins, ike.. especially tito and hopkins as tito was tied up with don king, and hopkins was notoriously hard to deal with back in the day.. Yet somehow arum and oscar landed all the major fights..

I wish floyd was the same way.. If floyd wants this fight, this fight would get made in 2 seconds.. Arum knows his days of milking the cash cow manny are coming to an end and he needs to cash him out

The main reason that he can't make the fight is that there is an irrational expectation amongst the media that holds him %100 accountable for whether the fight gets made or not and places no accountability at all on Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao. And I think that it's more than ironic that you use the same person who has been doing everything in his power to prevent the fight from happening as an example of a person who has been able to make fights happen. Now De la Hoya is playing a role in preventing the fight too with this only Mexican fighters should fight on Cinco De Mayo campaign.
