the fight needs at least 7-8 months to promote (Kellerman from HBO is still pushing this BS... we know it's BS because Arum wanted to negotiate a fight in December for a March fight back in 2010 lol)

Arum actually scares me more... Floyd seems like he wants to make the fight, but he just wants the conditions in his favor... Arum seems like he doesn't want the fight at all.. which is a bigger issue...

Floyd already made up his mind not to fight Pacquiao since 2009. I think the 2009 PED test demanded by him really worked on his favor not to fight Pac.

Mayweather has sold a ton more PPV than De la Hoya and gave De la Hoya his highest grossing PPV earnings. Only two of the fighters that you mentioned on Mayweather's list of opponents that you are trying to use to discredit him were not world champions when Mayweather fought them and he won all of those fights. De la Hoya lost two of those fights was given a gift decision in one and fought Julio Cesar Chavez when he was far and beyond over the hill. So those are bad comparisons if you were trying to use them to bolster De la Hoya's accomplishments.
