It's been made a far bigger deal than what it is.
Yes he can do that and lose PPV numbers and respect from a lot of boxing fans!

Ok, lets say Floyd loses May 2nd.. so what? Why can't people realize the biggest loser if there's no Floyd-Manny fight is Pacquiao. What is plan b for Pacquiao? He's under Arum, all the top guys are with Haymon. What is he gonna do? Fight Jessie Vargas? Thats sinking even further than Algieri.

Floyd-Khan will do great numbers, why do people act like Floyd is backed into a wall. Pacquiao should be the one praying Arum makes the fight happen, his plan b is atrocious.

Losing May 2nd will probably hurt his ego, but it's that a victory for Pacquiao?

And if the rumor of a Floyd-Cotto rematch are true, Pacquiao is still ****ed.

The only one with something to lose in this picture is Pacquiao.

So Floyd fighting Cotto again to make boxing history while Manny faces Jessie Vargas.. in this scenario you see Floyd as the one losing respect from fans? Losing PPV numbers? Pacquiao/Vargas isn't even PPV worthy.

It is actually rather sad that people have such empty lives that the idea of a boxer not getting to fight on a date that he wants to fight would bring them so much joy.
You are not a happy camper, I see.

Miguel Cotto is HBO s little b*tch. HBOs plan is to move mayweather of that date and there nothing mayweather can do. He wont get a rematch with canelo or cotto without HBO being involved. Even with manny HBO will be involve. HBO IS KING. Al Haymond keeps destroying boxers career ex. Adonis, Garcia, Quillen.

I am not rooting for or against the May 2 date, unlike Kellerman and the majority of the people on this message board. .I will watch Mayweather fight on any date

Would PAC dare to even think of ever facing Cotto again now the he's off the PEDs? I think not. Instead he fights a no-name, under-acheived , softie and nobody whispers a word, contrarily the cheer it on. Wtf?
