He's finished in a sense his drive and will to be a champion appears to be gone. But he's still a very live dog in the ring. Still a very dangerous fight for anyone at 154.

It sucks Canelo wasn't interested in this fight. That would have been the fight to make.

Had he been active during this time he might really be done by today, at age 30. Instead he hasn't been taking punches in live fights so I'd think that he is going to have at least 3 years to make something happen, assuming he gets underway with it already. Some of these dudes out there haven't been to war yet and Kirkland might get to show some of them that they aren't ready for that, and he will be the one advancing. With his style and name he will get a couple of chances to spring an upset. He will be in the role of Ishida this time

Judging by his actions you can tell that Kirkland is not to bright.

Somebody is telling him that he is worth much more than he was getting and now he is stagnate.

Canelo was interested 2 years ago. Kirland decided to walk away from it.

That is a fact. Kirkland priced himself out of the fight.

Don't get it twisted bro, Kirkland turned down the Canelo fight(for a second time). The fight was offered to Kirkland's team and they decided to face Rosado instead.

Remember when mini Mike Kirkland was going to fight that lanky funny looking Japanese guy? It was supposed to be an execution mascarading as a boxing match. Ishida ruined Kirkland.
