True. Lampley forgot HBO be like kov v caparello and Manny v algieri. Its only bad when the other guy does it.

                    closer to the truth

As a hardcore life long fan, naturally I want to see the best possible fights week in and week out. As a manager Al Haymon is doing his job, he owes the fans nothing and its his job to make good career choices for his clients. if hes handling my portfolio, its most money, least risk. Showtime needs to reject fights that are not up to standards, as does hbo. These networks shouldn't answer to the boxers/managers/promoters, but the fans who subscribe. We foot the bill. We complain on message boards but not where it counts, I cancelled Superchannel(carrier for showtimes fights in Canada) in august. Its not because cost or anything, I would keep it even for a couple good fights a year. As long as we eat crap it will always be on the menu. Take it from an Edmonton oilers fan.

Arum has many fights of the year under his belt. Haymon, not quite. Yea yea. He's not the promoter, but we all know he basically is.
