    Did he really "wear out his welcome"? Or did he take his biggest client across the street to a different network. Where was all of this criticism from HBO when Mayweather and Haymon were still with them?

      I think people are too critical of Haymon rather than the fighters he manages

      Its been revealed Haymon approaches a fighter and asks "can u beat this person" and if the fighter says "no" the fight does not get made

      So who is to blame the fighter or Haymon?

      Haymon cant force a fighter to fight a fight, his job is to keep his fighter happy and make them money

      If Danny Garcia wanted to fight Lucas again, that fight would get made. Haymon has no control over DG, in essence Haymon is just a servant

      If Floyd doesnt want to fight Khan, the fight will not be made..Haymon will ask Floyd "can u beat Khan" and Floyd will say "no" and then they will look for someone Floyd thinks he can beat, such as Danny Garcia

        It's not that what he said isn't true. The problem people have is that he is being selective with who he criticizes.

        It follows a pattern of The Fight Game always bashing the rival network and fighters while giving nothing but praise to HBO-affiliated boxers and promoters.

          HBO going in on haymon and Floyd last few days. Fight must be on because Showtime's ratings weren't enough to scare HBO so can't see why else they'd be mentioning them.

              Lol. As if Floyd would say no to the question of whether he could beat Khan or not in favor of Danny Garcia. Last I checked Danny Garcia already beat down and stopped Amir Khan. So what are you really saying..?

                it was golden boy who got kicked out by HBO for moving all of them to showtime..... Haymon wore out his welcome even before that happened.

                    Bob Arum or Al Haymon?

                    Who is Lampley really referring to? Since Top Rank is HBO's biggest clients that put on the most mismatches and underhand scoring in boxing, Lampley can't call Bob out (Lampley's with HBO) so he fires at Haymon. The pot calling the skillet black syndrome. Safest fights? Duh? What about Pacquiao?

                      If 2015 sucks, yes. If it doesn't, no. I am hopeful he makes great fights on NBC and showtime next year.
