Manny is the only fighter in history to not only get blamed, but praised for taking on cherry pick fights, refusing testing, resfusing to demand the top fights, and resigning with the guy who continues to set him up with cherry picks. It's obvious that Manny is resigning with Arum so that Arum can protect his rep from looking like duck from avoiding Floyd. Manny hires Arum exactly for that reason to have Arum take the heat other wise why would Manny need Arum. Manny don't need Arum to get him fights. Manny can get any fight he wants with out having to give Arum or anyone a cut. Manny hires Arum to hide behind from Floyd and for the special match making. There is no other reason why Manny would resign with Bob cause he don't need Bob to get top fights thats for sure!

Cotto was a decent win even thought he was a bit weight drain and not his best after getting a serious beat down and a very close win against Joshua. Cotto didn't want the catch weight , but Arum threaten to strip him so Cotto had no choice. Still decent win for Pac.

If Top Rank would to give at least a sound excuse or possibly an alternative date then I could go with that, but all Arum has been doing is saying no with an redicolous excuse that even Oscar shot down and yet Arum still pushing that excuse and leaving everyone in the dark. Clearly its not looking like Arum really wants it.

Manny called out Floyd, Marquez and Bradley last year and this year. All said no last year. The only one that said yes this year, Manny fought him. All of the above, as you know, were risky fights for Manny.

If Marquez and Floyd would have said that they were interested, Rios and Algieri fights would not have happened as they did. So Rios was Manny's 4th option and Algieri was Manny's 3rd option.

Oscar knew that Manny was fast. Oscar was training for speed. His theory was to come in light so that he would be faster. It back-fired.

You admit that Cotto was a good win.


The point is that Manny has fought enough risky fights to say that your logic is flawed. The only one who avoided risky fights were Floyd. Even when he has the advantage, he tries to get more (CW, gloves, ring, .....)
