Sugar Ray Robinson's jump in weight, amazing.

At 16 years old, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, and Sugar Ray Robinson were flyweights. Manny was fighting as an underage professional. Mayweather and Robinson were taking the Golden Gloves championships.

    Pacquiao went up to 150
Mayweather went up to 154 (Could he make 160?)
Sugar Ray went up to 175 (made the move to 175 to challenge Joey Maxim for the title)

Although Sugar Ray is the tallest of all, he still made a move of up to 60 pounds if he did weigh in at the 175 limit.

Exactly why Robinson is a Legend. The man did what very few people have the capability of doing and Sugar did it with amazing stride. The man is with out a doubt the Greatest.

Everyone's body frame isnt the same. You never know how big a 16 yr old will get and you spoke about how tall SRR was. I remember when Ghost went to ww, Roy Jones described him as small and weak. But when him and Floyd were talking trash Ghost was big af. I also remember Ortiz coming in the ring at 165kbs at ww.

From being 16yrs old to a grown man I dunno. I could see if he was 25 at that weight, and went up in only a few yrs but not from boy to man. Floyd and Pac are short naturally small guys.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Are you serious going to talk about that old outdated azz fighter? Im no fan of SRL, but even HE is better than SRR's bumazz. SRL had a plus minus of 15, while Floyd had a plus minus of 30! Ward had a plus minus of 15, and SRL is faster than Ward. Basically Ward would be the top dog in SRL's era and SRL is WAAAAY better than SRR.

Boxing has evolved. The popular thing to do is to overexaggerate about these old dusty azz fighters who fought in the 1500's LOL.

Boy if Jake Lomotta smashed SRR do you know what Pacman would do to that man? Stop lying about these past ATG's. I just got through talking about this on a previous post. It makes me SICK when you all lie about past ATG's, and SRR???

Bro in his era they used to stand like rockem sockem robots when they fought, and they would slowly trudge around the ring GTFO!!

Dudes used to fight like Popeye lol

Robinson was tall, had a wide frame and still looked skinny at 175
