I like how Kovalev operates, already back in action against another top guy in his division.

not only does kovalev hits really hard but he's also good at controlling the distance with his long and straight punches so even if pascal elect to box kovalev should have no problem. he also has the height and reach advantage over pascal.

really looking forward to this fight. Should be exciting since kovalev is all action and pascal is a dangerous guy that can explode on you with hard punches.

This is a much tougher and more dangerous fight for kovalev than hopkins was. I think kovalev wins but I wouldn't be surprised if pascal knocks kovalev down maybe even KO him with a hail mary shot.

I agree with your post (possible exception of the last line, Pascal is not a finisher).

This. Kovalev will take the center ring, pick Pascal apart and then go for a late KO. Not sure it will be that easy though.

Pascal never ducks anybody. I'll never know why this guy don't get the credit he deserves. And when he fights, the audience usually get their money's worth.

I suspect that Hopkins and Kovalev somehow agreed upon a boxing match between gentlemen -- eventually it was Hopkins who accepted to fight a dangerous Kovalev and "pass the torch" to him... So I don't know if such a "gentlemen agreement" is to be reached on the same grounds...
