Didn't he pop up on Ring's P4P list this and last year?

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing him there.

You mean when Floyd abandoned the sport for 2 years to avoid the top welterweights, lol, yea I wouldn't call that a retirement. He ran away into hiding. He knew damn well he was going to return to the sport after the smoke cleared, everybody knew the "retirement" was bullshyt.

Exactly Dan, why is a guy who retired in 2008 getting credit for consecutive P4P appearances? That doesn't make sense. By this logic, Ward should immediately be top 3 when he comes despite the act he hasn't fought in a year

Other than 2008 due to his hiatus he's been on the list every year since 1998.

            Quite impressive.

Don't think anyone's been on the list consistently for that period of time before.

Genrally speaking getting removed from the list for time off is dfferent than getting removed for losing, Floyd came back and was the same guy.

You know that that says, he would have been on the list the whole time had he not took 16 months off. If he had fought the Oscar remathc which was the fight he would have taken place and would have been his only fights over that period almost surely. Would that really change peoples mind on Floyd? Be honest~

because of that so called 'hiatus' you replied to. ducked the WW division when it was full of threats

came back and dragged a career SFW marquez for his return fight where he didn't even try to make weight.
