Khan doesn't really gain much from beating Brook, and Brook's CV is still a joke overall. I wish Brook would back up his own mouth and force Khan to fight him by going to the States and actually beating another one or two ranked WW's.
Instead, he wins a title, gets stabbed in Tenerife (!?), and will now fight another nobody (Joesito Lopez) in March probably in Sheffield again.
Eddie Hearn only takes fighters to America when he is feeding them to a champion for chump change.
How does Khan not have anything to gain by beating Brook? Khan vs Brook is the biggest domestic fight that can be made in England right now. It would be a success at Wembley, Khan wasn't even able to fill HALF the capacity of the MGM Grand arena in his last fight, not to mention he'd be getting paid at least 5X the amount he made vs Devon. Khan himself hasn't even beat 2 ranked welterweights so how can he demand Brook to do something he hasn't done himself? Brook has a belt, he's undefeated and a fight between him and Khan would be huge in the UK. There's no reason why this fight can't be made, Khan sitting, waiting and begging Mayweather for a fight isn't helping his career.

It's really hard to take Floyd, Arum, Manny, etc, seriously. They're all full of ****. They say what the public wants to hear, but behind the scenes, they aren't really pushing for the fight to happen.
^This. If I were Floyd, I'd try to unify all the belts with these last 2 fights. Fight Pac in May for the WBO then in the meantime have Khan fight Brook then fight the winner in the fall for the IBF and call it a career.

Khan can't fight in September so it's obvious why he's pushing so hard for the Mayweather fight next.

Khan will not fight Brook, until it's in Khans best interest

People say but "he will win a title"..Floyd doesnt care about titles, if he did he would fight Brook now.

Brooks best option is to build a resume and his own way, the more **** talkin Hern does, the even less chance this fight will happen.

Brook cant sit around waiting for Khan forever.

"Im a self promoted fighter." Meanwhile Oscar DLH has been over the top with publicly hyping Khan. Dead giveaway that Khan is one of and probably the biggest of the fighters that turned out to not actually be contracted to GBP and Oscar is trying to reel him in.

Amir Khan would beat Floyd's ass, no doubt about it.

Think about it like this. Floyd is getting old, his fights against Maidana were not impressive. Khan is prime and his hand speed and footwork is the best in the game today. Floyd don't want any part of Khan and I don't blame him....I'd just be happy if Mayweather fights Pacquaio coz that's a guy from his era and its a huge fight....don't fight Khan but don't talk bs, Floyd.

I was a big Lewis fan, he beat Vitali fair and square but didn't want a rematch coz he couldn't get motivated and that fight was too dangerous for his legacy, call it how it is....retire if you want, Floyd's legacy is incredible but don't talk bs.
If Khan is nothing then beat him up Floyd and show the world....but you ain't gonna do that are you? So don't even talk about him.

Which is why I said for the fight to be in the FALL, not september. After ramadan Khan should be ready to fight by the end of October or November. I think Floyd would be more willing to compromise his September date than the May date.

Replace Khan's name with Floyd and replace Brook/Hearn's name with Khan and this quote will be just as relevant and true.

Mayweather won't move dates to fight Pacquaio but he's going to move to accommodate Khan? Interesting theory...

Some of the statements being made, like Brook being capable of "ending Khan's career" and knocking him out - have only annoyed Amir, who plans to make Brook wait. Brook is expected to make his first title defense in March.

I find this whole situation very ironic since Floyd Mayweather is not taking the verbal bait of non-champion, Amir Khan, and is making Khan wait.
