According to Cotto, he's in talks with Canelo to lock the September date, so if Floyd fights Manny in May or if the Manny fight is no longer on the table for w/e reason Floyd would have no choice but to change the date anyway because that's the only fight that can outdo Cotto vs Canelo ratings wise.

In any case, beating Brook now would do a lot more for Khan's career than sitting idle waiting for a Mayweather fight that may or may not ever happen.

Khan has a resume, a better resume than Guerrero, Maidana and Ortiz. If Brook had a better resume, he'd be in the Floyd sweepstakes

The risk/reward against Brook is too much for Khan. He'll do anything to avoid that fight. Hearn should change direction by fighting JMM & Bradley. Mayweather won't give Khan the fight.
