Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Reacts: I Don't Care About Brook or Hearn

Amir Khan is not taking the verbal bait of IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook and his promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport.

Khan is pursuing a fight with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May. Hearn is confident Mayweather will pass him up for another option.

Some of the statements being made, like Brook being capable of "ending Khan's career" and knocking him out - have only annoyed Amir, who plans to make Brook wait. Brook is expected to make his first title defense in March.

I have to chime in here and say that Kahn is really full of himself. He is turning away from an undefeated champion? This glass jawed hype job doesn't deserve any special treatment. Does he forget how he tends to get his ass kicked when he gets in with a puncher? Oh, i guess he hasn't....priveliged coward who knows he isn't elite. I give credit for alexander win but he is still not in a position to act like a mayweather. You ain't mayweather dude.

khan is using Floyd's name too duck brook.

              khan vs brook

              its a home fight
              its a rivalry fight
it would be the biggest payday of khan's career. yet he avoids it like the plague

hearns offered over 5 million. khan just fought alexander for less than a million.

Khan said before that Brook wasn't on his radar because he'd never beaten anyone and had no credentials, but that if Brook proved able (which Khan doubted) to win a world title it would be a different story. Brook wins the IBF crown, not at home but in the States, maintains an undefeated record, and yet is still not on Khan's radar. Speaks for itself.
