I'm not too sure why this fight doesn't make sense to Amir Khan. Win and you get the IBF belt, draw huge numbers at the Wembley (a very bug reason why the fight isn't appealing to Floyd at the moment) and it also builds his reputation as possibly the most deserving fighter in the division (not named Pacquiao) that could likely face Floyd. I don't see Khan stepping in the ring with Marquez or Thurman (Khan's jaw is itching for a ko punch from either, although a win over either would build lots of WW credibility), so the only other options are Brook, Bradley or Guerrero. The biggest draw of the 3 would be a fight against Kell... Its literally the only logical route at WW.

I hope Floyd gives him an ultimatum. Fight Brook and win the IBF belt or you can forget about ever fighting me. I doubt Floyd will do that since it looks like Khan is arguably the guy he'll fight in May, but then again, Bob Arum doesn't plan on making the fight happen. It's really hard to take Floyd, Arum, Manny, etc, seriously. They're all full of ****. They say what the public wants to hear, but behind the scenes, they aren't really pushing for the fight to happen.

As expected, next level ignorance and bias in this thread.
Let me explain the situation to y'all in simple terms.
There are two possibilities:
1) Floyd wants the Khan fight.
2) Floyd doesn't want the Khan fight.
If he wants it, it will happen. With wins over Collazo and Devon, Khan is just as "deserving" as Floyd's last Lord knows how many opponents. It's not like it would be an embarrassment to choose him.
If Floyd doesn't want it, it won't happen period. Even with a win over Brook and the IBF belt around his waist, Khan can't force Floyd to do what he doesn't want to do.
To sum it up, beating Brook won't affect Khan's chances to get the Floyd fight in the slightest and it's ridiculous to pretend otherwise.

Khan-Brook is big in the UK but doesn't make that much of a splash in America. It won't make Khan any bigger a name in the US - and that seems to be Mayweather's current excuse not to fight him.

Eddie Hearn is just desperate to stage a fight at Wembley again coz of the massive carrot they are dangling, Eddie Hearn is only interested in the money.
Khan doesn't really gain much from beating Brook, and Brook's CV is still a joke overall. I wish Brook would back up his own mouth and force Khan to fight him by going to the States and actually beating another one or two ranked WW's.
Instead, he wins a title, gets stabbed in Tenerife (!?), and will now fight another nobody (Joesito Lopez) in March probably in Sheffield again.
Eddie Hearn only takes fighters to America when he is feeding them to a champion for chump change.

khan fighting kell brook has nothing too do with a Floyd fight.
khan should fight brook because it allows him the biggest payday of his career to this point. plus its in his home country against a fighter he hates. its the perfect scenario. and its for a title. which would give khan the chance too become a 3 division champion.
instead khan wants too fight Floyd and that's fine, but the world wants Floyd too fight pacquiao. so khan should give his country the fight they want which is a grudge match against brook.
if Floyd fights pacquiao then who is khan gonna fight if not brook?
Thurman? khan aint gonna take that fight
Bradley? haymon and arum don't work together
let me guess. khan is gonna fight shawn porter next, the guy who brook already beat. or he will choose robert guerrero. there is no money or glory in those fights for amir
either way if khan doesn't fight Floyd next, there is no bigger fight out there for khan.

If Mayweather doesn't think he's a big enough name now, fighting Brook in the UK won't change that

Eddie Hearn is a business man first and he wants to get paid. So obviously hes looking for the fights which generate the highest income and that happens to be fighting Amir Khan.
Its not rocket science lol
