Hope Wlad tries to unify after his win over Jennings. Then Fury who is to slow for Wlad.

If boxing doesn't work out for Fury he can always star in those Hotels.com commercials as Captain Obvious.

It would be a great shame if Wlad gave up the WBO to go for the WBC, even though it would be understandable.

I think he should have done it when they asked him to fight Leapai and not when there's a genuine top 5 contender knocking on the door.

All these fighter need to stop messing with wlad and talking smack about him, because at the end of the day, the result in the ring is always the same (they get beat).

Srsly fury needs to be careful

Is it the WBC who won't allow the unification? or the WBO not allowing the unification? Why can't Wlad have all four belts?

Or are you saying the WBO would drop Wlad for not fighting their #1 ranked contender?

Sounds like a good idea to me. Although I would say Fury is more deserving than Jennings for the first fight.

can't blame wlad for going the WBC route. if he only has a couple fights left why waste it on Jennings? fight fury in march or april & after that whoever wins (i'm sure it's wlad)unify with wilder or stiverne by years end. it would be neat to see someone actually hold all 4 belts at once. The WBO wasn't recognized as a world title the last time someone held the WBC\IBF\WBA at once. wlad could be the first to do that so I don't see him vacating. that would secure his legacy as a top 10 all-time great (It's hard to compare generations & I won't order them as opinions vary). He is already one of the greatest HWs of all-time so being the 1st 4 belt holder would be pretty neat even if it is only for a day.

The WBC once said they didn't want unified champions, but they've been pushing for Wlad to fight for their belt so I don't know with that.

The thing is, Fury is #1 contender for the WBO belt and Wlad wants the WBC belt. Now, WBO will call for a mandatory in April I believe and they'll have 90 days to fight.

So you can imagine that Wlad probably wants a big summer unification fight against Wilder/stiverne (maybe on ppv) as opposed to fighting his mandatory Fury. But if he does go down that route, he's likely going to get stripped by the WBO unless they grant him an extension to fight a unification fight which they actually should do since it hasn't been long since he fought Leapai for the same belt. But according to various sources they won't.

So Wlad will maybe have to make a decision and decide whether he wants to fight Fury and risk the chance of the WBC belt getting even further away whilst at the same time seeing father time knocking at his door, or fight the WBC champ and give up the WBO in the process.
