I agree that its all hype, especially since Wlad has a history of fighting his mandatory fights, regardless of how ridiculous they happen to be. I have also seen nothing to suggest the WBO is planning on stripping Wlad. If someone else has read any info about the possibility of it happening please post a link. It is also no secret that Wlad wants the WBC belt and that it has been his priority since the day Vatali retired. There is also no reason, unless one of them loses, that Wlad-Fury cannot happen next year. So, at the very least I believe the WBO would give Wlad an extension or maybe even make him pay Fury some step a side money instead of stripping a fighter that has been involved with their organization for most of the last fifteen years. To me that just doesn't make much sense. But then again we are talking about boxing. So.....

EBU/British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (23-0, 17KOs) is crossing his fingers, hoping to land a fight with WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

Fury is set to return on February 28th at the O2 Arena. Klitschko will defend his titles on April 25th from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, likely against Bryant Jennings. Fury in the mandatory challenger to Klitschko's WBO title.

I can't wait for this fight to happen.

how long can wlad duck good fighters and fight bums like leapai and pulev? now he's trying to fight jennings who went life and death with perez instead of wilder-stirvene winner or fury? what a joke.

Winners fight in November/December for the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, RING, TBRB, and lineal heavyweight titles.
Man I wish boxing actually worked like this. But somebody will sprain something, somebody will have some personal problems, somebody will have some legal problems, etc. But if we can just get Jennings/Stiverne and Wlad/Fury/Jennings/anyone in the top ten, alone it's not a bad year for what's the standard now. I'd be happy with just two good title fights.

pulev was a mandatory and considered by many (not me) as the second best heavy in the world. now hes been given an optional defense and wilder/stiverne obviously wouldnt be ready so hes fighting jennings instead. I dont see any duck as of yet. lets see what he does after jennings before we call it as such. I think he wants that wbc title and will chase that next. hopefully he does and then fights fury

This guy sounds like Amir Khan. He thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread even though he has beaten no one to justify that arrogance.

I know that Fury will be figthing another journeyan that no one has ever heard of in February. However, I wish he would fight Amir Mansour in February. Mansour is not that good, but all it would take is one hard right hand on that glass jaw of Fury's to end the fight. Also, if Fury tried those dirty holding and laying on his opponent tactics that he used against Cunningham, Mansour would hit him in the crotch, the legs, the liver, the arms and everywhere else until Fury stopped. It would be worth watching just to see that.

Fury needs to go through Wilder or Joshua before going for Wlad.

No, he is not. Fury's and Jennings compeition have been about the same level and the outcome against Klitschko will be the same. Both will be KO'd.
