Sorry but it is a known fact in boxing that Floyd Mayweather chased Oscar and Mosley up to WW to fight them back in the day and Mosley actuallly did not want that fight with Mayweather so you are wrong. Bob Arum ducked the Mayweather fight for Cotto at 140. Even Cotto himself said that the fight was NEVER presented to him from Top Rank so you're wrong again. Here is the thing.... Manny was made to look spectacular and be the greatest through media manipulation and matched fights. Floyd Mayweather is considered great because he has the talent and skills to be considered as such. Is he the greatest of all time? NO..... Greater than Manny Pacquiao, YES.
Floyd's talk is making you think that it meant that he wanted to fight prime Oscar and Mosley. Floyd did that with Winky, Manny(YOU ARE NEXT - Later - NEVER SAID THAT) and others too but never fought them when they stepped up and called Floyd out or responded to Floyd's calling.
Here is all the proof that you would need. When Floyd called out Oscar and Mosley, did Floyd jump up to their respective divisions? If he didn't then it was ALL TALK!!!
Cotto: We all know that Arum likes big fights amongst his stable. Arum stated that Cotto was the man that could possibly beat Floyd but not that version of Cotto. Arum said a young Cotto needed to fight often and in another 1 to 1.5 years later that fight would happen. Floyd wanted a greenish Cotto like when he fought Canelo. Beating that version of Cotto wouldn't give Floyd much credit.
Later, when Cotto moved to WW and had just beat Mosley is when Floyd should have wanted that fight. Two undefeated and prime fighters but guess what. Floyd said "I'm not interested"
"Floyd Mayweather is NOT interested in a fight with Cotto 2007-12-16..... Floyd gave his thought on Cotto trying to lure Floyd into a fight...... more importantly, Floyd doesn't feel the fight makes any financial sense at the moment."
WBC welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. (39-0, 25KOs) is not interested in a potential fight with WBA champ Miguel Cotto (31-0, 25KOs) of Puerto Rico, at le

Kinda obvious aint it?
Floyd is well known wife beater, who is prone to violent racist outburts. He is a vile and hated person.
Pacquiao is a soft spoken, nice person, who is known for tirelessly working for his people through charity and politics.
Its just stating the obvious Pac is more respected. Thats like saying water is wet.Comment

Pac will be more respected because he will be President of the Phillipines in the next 10 years while Floyd will most likely blow through all of his money and still have troubles with the law just like his Daddy and Uncle Roger.Comment
