But the thread is about how well rounded he is, and I just don't think he is that well rounded...

Well rounded I think of guys like prime Hagler, hopkins, floyd, ricardo Lopez.. Guys that could literally do it all in the ring and use a vast array of different styles and tactics...

Ggg is great but he reminds me of a tito or g-man, and is limited in certain ways...
I can't agree with your definition of all rounded at list for hopkins and floyd. Those can do a lot in the ring but they can't punch. So they are/were limited in that regard.

No weebs, Floyd is good inside fighter - see Hatton fight

And when did Hopkins rely on the ref vs Trinidad which is his signature win. Occasional use of the head but that wasn't when he was on the inside which you are alluding to.

Why is it mind boggling? Isn't the way of change to be excited by the new and denigrate the old? It happens in nearly every sphere of life in every generation (and may almost be the defining point of what a generation is, in social terms outside of the strictly biological).

          Masterfully!

Apparently* they brought a prime silverback up to The Summit (although detractors say that the 420lb beast may have been a little jetlagged, claims that the altitude may have been a factor can easily be dismissed since one of the larger mountain species was used).

Apparently sparring went very well with GGG using precise footwork and running abilities similar to many of the slickest boxers in the game to baffle his larger opponent, though his attempts to vault out of the ring or slide under the ropes had to be foiled on several occasions by experienced helpers using 18 KV shock rods.

            floyd just clinched vs hatton..

floyds weaknessess is he doesn't always move his head and he puts his chin in the air while punching

hopkins has always been slow of foot

the flaws can be minor in instances and major in other instances, floyd for example againsta southpaw, it's dangerous if he doesn't move his head and relies on his reflexes i.e shoulder rolling or facing someone as fast as him that can make him pay when he punches and hopkins it can be a major weakness against a fast mover because he wasn't the greatest at cutting off the ring(definitely not as good as golovkin)

golovkins weaknesses are he has traded speed for power i.e he's become slow, and he can get a little lazy with his defense at times, esspecially against someone who isn't much of a puncher

golovkins weakness is probabley a fast combination puncher that just consistently shoeshines/fights him

"What are Floyd's and hopkins weaknesses in their primes... Literally nobody could touch these guys but prime roy...

What couldn't hopkins and floyd do in the ring,,, they are much more versatile and well rounded than ggg...

Sure ggg is a better power puncher than them, but take away his power punching and make him hit as hard as floyd and I doubt ggg achieves the same success that he has.."

I get the point people try and make in regards to strength of talent in certain time periods. The "no ones better than prime roy, prime hopkins, etc..etc" valid opinions in some ways but how do you really know how a guy like GGG would stack up against these guys? Or a guy like andy Lee? Quillin? I think you may be surprised, i say GGG hangs with roy jones

search his amateur record and youll know his power is not the only tool he has to win

edit: oh my bad u quoted it from someone hahah
