I think your memory is messing up with you, but let's for the sake of argument agree that your memory serves you right.
Floyd = 4 yrs dominating cinco de mayo.
Pac = fight hatton, and mosley on may ( i suppose your memory will also tell you that Pac can't fight hatton and mosley in one monthe which is may) therefore Pac fought on May twice which is 2 yrs right?
So:
Floyd - 4 yrs domintating cinxo de mayo minus Pac for two years equals
Floyd = 2
Pac = 2
now:
Where was Floyd and his fans when Pac fought Hatton in may?
why is there no uproar from Floyd and his fans that May belongs to Floyd?
Where was Floyd and his fans when Pac fought Mosley n may?
why is there no uproar from Floyd and his fans that May belongs to Floyd?
your memory is playing mind tricks on youComment

Lmao there's absolutely no way May-Pac ever gets made yo...
How can we expect the two parties to agree on:
Purse split
Venue
Date
Ring size
Gloves
Referee
Judges
PED Testing Parameters (agency, cut-off dates, etc.)
TV Network(s)
Promotion
Even if by some miracle this fight ever comes together and things get agreed to, there's no way they can settle this stuff in time to build for a cinco de mayo weekend fight. It's already too late in the gameComment

Floyd retired. You're correct, it was the last 3 years not 4. I stand corrected! Floyd beat Oscar, Cinco de Mayo 2007, Mosely Cinco de Mayo 2010, Cotto 2012, Guererro 2013, Maidana 2014. I think you see a pattern. Manny fought twice on Cinco de Mayo weekend, so we know he has no problem fighting on that date! What's the problem now? Floyd fans don't have a problem watching Floyd on Cinco de Mayo, Bob Arum has the problem. Floyd fans have a problem with Bob Arum!
The problem is that some of Floyd supporters either consciously or unconsciously making statement that are either 100 percent false or just 50 percent true.
now I am going to ask you the same question that I asked other poster here
What if Canelo Cotto Oscar and Arum all gave in to Floyd's demand and Floyd gets the May 2 date and yet end up fighting another boxer not name Pac.but khan or Garcia what are you going to say then?Comment

I'm just going to wait and see how this all turns out. Still time for it to be made and with Oscar and Cotto both saying that they don't care about the date, it shouldn't be an issue. The fans deserve it.Comment

Why do I bring up this point? Pacquiao has asked for a 50/50 split from A side Floyd Mayweather and Floyd has stated it would not happen. Allow me to drop this reality on Pacquiao fans and Floyd haters.
If Floyd had lost his title to Bradley, was koed by Marquez, got his title back from Bradley, fought Brandon Rios and did 470,000 buys, regained his title by beating Bradley, then fought Chris Algieri and brought in just over 300,000 buys, Bob Arum, Pacquiao, and trainer Freddie Roach, would likely go out of their way to let Floyd and the public know who the B side to the proposed mega would be.
First, Floyd couldn’t fight Algieri and get away with it. The internet would crash from the comments that would fill the blogs. Arum would not let Floyd come anywhere near a 50/50 split. I’m sure Arum would make Floyd take that 40 million dollar offer with 35% upside of the revenue or Arum would go elsewhere.
Pacquiao has said on many occasions that he would take less money to make this fight happen. But when a confirmed 40 million dollar offer with 35% of the revenue was made, it wasn’t enough? So Pacquiao can tell Marquez he doesn’t deserve a 50/50 split nor 20 million dollars and he isn’t ducking or pricing himself out? But Floyd tells Pacquiao he doesn’t deserve a 50/50 split and Pacquiao fans/Floyd haters are saying Floyd is ducking and purposely pricing himself out? How does that work?
Pacquiao gets no sympathy from me nor does his fans until they can explain to me why Marquez doesn’t deserve what he asked for when he CLEARLY earned it. So in the words of Roach and I’m going to add/take away a few words. Floyd’s wants Manny right away. But Pacquiao wants just about 50/50 split. Floyd’s brings in the numbers pay per view wise. Floyd is the guy…..I think both guys can ask for more (money) and Manny deserves something, but not 50/50.

If the date doesn't matter as you, then it shouldn't be up for discussion. So Arum shouldn't have brought it up.
I'm just going to wait and see how this all turns out. Still time for it to be made and with Oscar and Cotto both saying that they don't care about the date, it shouldn't be an issue. The fans deserve it.
But the Cotto say he may want the date to be on May.
Cotto is known to be big diva!Comment
