          He was buzzed for sure but he was in the middle of throwing back just as the ref jumped in. Hope he stays aware of getting caught up in situations like that against Wilder - don't want to give the ref any excuses to stop the fight mid-Windmill

            He got hurt but it was a bad stoppage. That dude is a strong ass spoiler. Rugged, rugged bastard. It's in Stiverne's rear view mirror now.

              It was a BS stoppage, but in between this fight, the draw vs. Charles Davis, and the poor showing vs. Ray Austin until the stopppage, one has to wonder how good Stiverne really is. He clearly has Chris Arreola's number, but how far can he go? Stiverne's advantage is his style works well vs. Wilder (speed, counterpunching). If Stiverne wins, I suspect it will look eerily similar to Seth Mitchell-Johnathon Banks I.

                I do think Stiverne was legit sick when he fought Austin like his camp says.
