I can see why it was stopped; he took a lot of power punches in a short window of time. The ref should have taken into consideration that he didn't appear to be hurt at all by those shots, but I'm sure being in the right up close looked very different from watching it on video.

Bad stoppage, but at the same time I see why the ref felt he needed to wave it off. As we've found out since, Stiverne has a great chin.

Never seen that before. Yes poor stoppage. Not quite Howard Foster bad but poor nonetheless.
