No he wouldn't, they would say Khan beat a past prime Pac and wouldn't have beat the '08/'09 version.

It's like Jones says, "Floyd did it to himself", he could've had a chance to win over a prime Cotto and prime Margarito too but he went on vacation and fought a past prime version of one of them years later.

Let me explain to u why. U and everyone else doesn't give manny a chance at beating floyd. The only real chance he got was back in 2010. Floyd on the other hand is the favorite, and has been the favorite from the start. So if manny fought floyd now and beats him, people is not gonna say what if pac would have fought the floyd from 2010, because floyd was always looked at as the favorite. Pac is the under dog so if floyd fights him now and beats him, then that's when people is gonna question about floyd not fighting pac in 2010 because that was manny's strongest point.

        "60/40 I'll whoop yo a55" , ring a bell?

How about, "I know my limitations and the only way I would fight Roy would be for the crown ***els" , ?

Because Roy has no reason to suck up to Floyd, Roy does HBO commentary, and HBO have always spoken the way they feel about Floyd.

Max Kellerman, Jim Lamply, Harold Ledderman, Larry Merchant
          Emmanuel Steward

These are guys that NEVER hid their feeling about Floyd Mayweather,so why would Roy be exempt from the rest of the HBO group?

We know why they didn't fight in 2010. Manny wouldn't do the drug testing.

It could be a sign that, if Pacquiao-Mayweather happens, Showtime might very well be the network to carry the fight.

Hopkins, Toney, Hill, McCallum, Tarver. Yea, all hand selected huh? Hops is an ATG and the others are or will be HOF'ers. Not to mention beating a heavyweight for a title when he started his career at 152 lbs.

The ones that he 'could' have fought were too busy trading losses overseas and knew full well had they fought Roy at his best they would have ended up like Clinton Woods.

I like how some fans think you have to condone 100 percent of a fighter's behavior all the time. I enjoy watching Mayweather fight and think he's one of the best but I don't think he's above criticism. No person is. He should have fought pac back in 2009/2010 and that will always be a stain on both of their resumes

                      great post.

Floyd had a chance to LEGITIMATELY get into top 10 ATG status.

After beating ricky at 147 he retired and left all these fights on the table:

                      Prime Pacquiao
                      Prime Margarito
                      Prime Cotto
                      Prime Paul Williams
                      Younger Shane Mosley

Hell instead of taking on a glorified club ****er in maidana 2x and guerrero, he could have easily fought Sergio AT 160 and become a legit middleweight champion.

He took the easy road instead. He fake retired and let everybody beat each other up and came back against a career featherweight at welter and cheated him on the scales to boot.

                      REPUGNANT.

                      DISGUSTING.
