What are you talking about? I said "minor mistake" because that's exactly what it was. Jhonny feinted downstairs and switched it up mid punch, Abner was blocking the body shot that never arrived, thus exposed his chin and got cracked. After getting up he tried to slug it out with a rangier fighter with much more power in his fists, wrong strategy.

Supposedly the rematch was set for the beginning of the year but an injury put it off. After that Mares switched teams and wanted to test waters with his new camp but didn't appreciate his new team so he went back to Medina. He needed these two comeback fights and he looked great in his last outting. I'm sure he has a few more years left in his prime.

All of those would be great fights!

I want to see Santa Cruz vs Mares the most.

Santa Cruz would leave Mares ko'd laying in a pool of his own blood!

Make It Happen! WAR SANTA CRUZ!!!

Rigo got the WHOLE division shook! The forgotten bogey man. I like Mares but I think he is to small for 126.

walters doesn't wanna fight the truth, vasyl lomachencko. he knows loma is far superior to him in skill, punching power and class. loma is head and shoulders above him and he will always just be second best in this division
