I think back to the time I actually liked Quillin and thought he was going to be a good champion. If he is going to take the name of the legendary Cuban fighter then he shouldn't disgrace that name by refusing to fight the best fighters in his weight class. This guy is afraid of GGG.

Quillen has the skills to trouble GGG too. Thats what sad. If he was confident in himself and had a solid game plan he might win a decision.

Quillin does not have an exclusive deal with Showtime, very few fighters do. Khan had one, Rosado had one (after HBO tried to match him with Macklin last December). Haymon almost had Quillin fight on Fox sports early last year but Rosado turned down the offer for being too low (<$100k).

              yea, I remember the situation.

Golovkin has an exclusive broadcasting contract with HBO, Quillin didn't and for some reason they wanted to put the fight on Showtime even though they knew they couldn't.

                  Edwin Rodriguez-Andre Ward.

Peter Nelson was asked if Roc Nations bid for Quillin-Korobov would be on HBO, he said yes.
