That incident occurred earlier in the year before the proposed Golovkin-Chavez fight got traction. Another blatant duck move by Quillin/Schaeffer/Espinoza. Golovkin just signed an exclusive deal with HBO, him facing Quillin on Showtime was not even a legal option, meanwhile Quillin does not have an exclusive deal with Showtime (unlike Khan did earlier in the year).
