Wait, were supposed to believe Peter "the duck" Quillin, is NOT ducking?! I'm sorry. I don't believe that. A duck will duck. It's in it's nature.Comment

Kind of hard to believe that was the plan based on which opponents he has fought up to this point. As far as political waters, guess the fight with Koborov was a typhoon of politics.Comment

That's a good point, if it wasn't for the fact that Haymon and crew bullshvt too much during purse bids...
How did the quillen-korobov purse bid go, or how about the stiverne-wilder with all the delays...
Everyone knows when it comes to purse bids these guys are about as serious as don King..
Plus they have barricaded themselves onto showtime knowing that GGG is hbo..Comment

That incident occurred earlier in the year before the proposed Golovkin-Chavez fight got traction. Another blatant duck move by Quillin/Schaeffer/Espinoza. Golovkin just signed an exclusive deal with HBO, him facing Quillin on Showtime was not even a legal option, meanwhile Quillin does not have an exclusive deal with Showtime (unlike Khan did earlier in the year).Ok....read the whole article. OP has lifted one section from it. Here's what he says before the stuff about GGG going to 168...
"Richard Schaefer wanted to do a purse bid for a Golovkin-Quillin fight, Quillin said, but it was rebuffed because Team Golovkin didn't want to cross rough political waters"
Is that true?Comment
