If anything I think he would sell less. A lot of people tune in and pay to watch him lose because he's black and arrogant with the "Money" persona. If he were white and was still the "Pretty Boy" persona he'd be more beloved than any fighter but he more than likely wouldn't make as much money as he does now. He would still be the #1 draw but most people wouldn't pay for his style to watch him win as much as they do now to watch him lose.
Do yall believe Floyd would be multibillionaire ...

Really? How so?........
Furthermore, I dont 'tune in' at all because I'm not dumb enough to pay for his bi-annual fiascos, and even if I did I would want to see him get the snot beaten out of him because he's a prick, not because of his colour.Comment

It's almost to the point that Floyd wouldn't have needed to chase Oscar.Boxing is an entirely different animal than those sports.
Floyd fights Oscar. He does the good guy thing on 24/7. You have 2 boring good guys. The only thing is, Oscar is the money making good guy. Floyd beats Oscar, does it in the most boring fashion possible. No more mystique with him. He's that boring good guy that be at Oscar.
Boxing doesn't have the platform that those sports have. Floyd had one chance to make his mark with 24/7, and he capitolized BIG TIME. Imagine he went the good guy role. After that boring win no one would give a crap anymore. Casual fans I mean.
"Pretty Boy" Floyd Matthews Jr, son of fringe contender Floyd Matthews and hailing from the Matthews fighting family, would've got the "Golden Boy" push from the jump.
You add in winning a world championship within his first two years s a professional and being considered, p4p, one of the best fighters in the sport before four years as a pro, and he'd be a license to print money.Comment
