Nope part of his appeal is that of a villain. He flaunts and is shameless. Nobody wants to see a white guy act like that.
Do yall believe Floyd would be multibillionaire ...

no if he had a mystique or charisma about him like Tyson and many others did he'd be a multi billionaire. Floyd has 0 charisma, he's extremely unintelligent and his only gift in life is boxing. He's not an interesting person like Tyson is, he's a boring lame highly illiterate/unintelligent pea brain, there's no way he'd ever be a world superstarComment

You'd have to be ignorant to not admit that boxing isn't football. The same fans that are rooting for Aaron Rodgers, and Peyton manning might casually know of said white boxer, but they wouldn't give a crap about boxing either way.You have to be ignorant not to at least admit if the p4p best fighter in the world was white had his same record, accolades, and exact same skills wouldn't be richer...history has shown us this a million times in many ways. The average white man salary is more than the average blk guy...there are far more wealthy whites so u could see him being richer white....the white privilege
Nothing sells more than the loud mouth black guy that people love to hate. Clean cut white guy doesn't sell unless he's an NFL QB, or a Yankee.
And if he's a loud mouth hoodish type white guy, he'd have almost no fan base. This isn't rap.
But there's one caveat. If said white boxer had the same skill set as Pacquiao or Tyson, that's a different story, but we're specifically talking about mayweather.Last edited by CatchAndShoot; 12-18-2014, 02:29 AM.Comment

FLoyd could have easily been a billionare by now if he had fought Pac 2 or 3 times.
Maybe not a multibillionare, but he could have been earning hundreds of millions at a time in one of the greatest boxing rivalries of all time.
He could have earned hundreds of millions in endorsements and stuff like that if he wasnt so abrasive and didnt have all those personality disorders.Comment

His career earning would be off the charts if he was white and played PR game right . He'd have corporate support from the start Of his career. I don't doubt that by the end he'd have generated Billions of dollars instead of hundreds of millions.
Would he be able to hang on to it that's another story.Comment

Floyd's biggest problem is he isn't likeable... He has no charisma, and his fighting style is boring..
If floyd was exciting like tyson, or classy like roy jones, I think he would be a true mega star like tiger woods, Michael Jordan..
But he's not,, and it's not because he isn't whiteComment

And who's he selling all those products to? Kids that are out there buying boxing equipment, or kids that are out there buying football cleats, and basketball shoes? His career earning would be off the charts if he was white and played PR game right . He'd have corporate support from the start Of his career. I don't doubt that by the end he'd have generated Billions of dollars instead of hundreds of millions.

This isn't the 80s or 90s anymore. Boxing doesn't sell to the mass media unless they're already a big hit. You have to beat a de LA hoya to get those commercials. A white guy with Floyd's skill set isn't as marketable as a white guy with Tyson's skill set. Its Floyd's mouth that got him the big bucks.
Bottom line, black guy with loud mouth out sells clean cut white guy with same skills in boxing. White guy with Tyson's skill with any personality could potentially out sell loud mouth black guy with Floyd's skillset.
Its about styles. Floyd's in ring skill set isn't mass media marketable. Its his edginess that makes it marketable. Aka 24/7, and all the controversy.Comment
