i dunno about sources, what i do know is that floyd's team has been pushing for this fight through the back channels for a while which is rare. now what i will say is that does not at all guarantee anything when u are working with divas like floyd and arum. but floyd is certainly sincere about wanting the fight.

Showtime have gained over 1 million subscribers since signing Mayweather. How many of those are down to Mayweather/boxing nobody knows but i'd say there'd be quite a few. Just having Mayweather on their network helped Showtine lure fighters, fans over and to compete with HBO.

No I didn't. I said they have no more PPV money, not that they had nothing else. You're reading comprehension is ****ing terrible, truly. But they could and probably do have more money, they also have a lot more expenses. And while the cost isn't as much as the purse of the main event, neither is the profit from the "other' money they are bringing in.

Also, TV pays people like MLB and the NFL to be on their channel it's not the other way around. They make all their money back from the advertising and you don't need to come up with a network to host a PPV. It has to be approved by DirecTV or any cable provider but they don't ask for a fee to put something on PPV they just skim their cut before anyone else.
