give credit to brook for beating porter the way he did, clinch who cares, its boxing, you aint gna let no pressure fighter do whatever on the inside lol.

thurman did goo against bundu, i do feel like he could have been more offensive, only time he hurt bundu was when he sat down on his hook in the first round. Other than that he throws half power when hes moving.

Thurman vs maidana, maidan would beat him. Honestly, lets see thurman vs either berto, ortiz, or guerrero at this point. Nice step up for him either way even if it one of those 3.
do whatever aka throw punches. yeah wouldn't want him to do that. cheating is often the best way to win. i'm surprised more people don't do it.

Wtf! Ppl in here are crazy.

Porter was a hype job in the US which they tend to do with boxers who look like they can ****. Brook exposed his actual boxing skills. He clearly is world level and needs to learn more and come back. He can.

Thurman - seems another hype job, ppl making out he is the hardest punched in history. Knocking out bums is nothing. However he definitely is not a bum bit just hasn't proved himself. He need the fight Brook had v Porter.

Brook - how can you say his resume us crap. Undefeated and a world champion. He wasn't offered big names as until he had the belt no one cared to fight him as he was high risk low reward. Like Thurman is now. He worked himself to mandatory and after a few setbacks with Alexander got his title shot and put himself in the mix. He we t to Porters country too. He can now build his resunebecauze ppl will want his belt. He now has a chance to build some fame.

Khan - yes he can be knocked out. But as far as resumes and fanfollowing go he is in a league only below the top boys. Well above those mentioned above. The only fight he will entertain are Floyd, Pac, Garcia (although they have offered this to Garcia plenty of times but had been turned down by Angel. Brook if no one else is avavailable.

First of all, these guys playing in the championship level at welterweight are all real fighters with real skill. Thurman, Brook, Khan, Alexander, porter, maidana- are all very good. When one beats another, it doesnt mean that the loser is a bum or journeyman. When best fight the best usually somebody loses.

The Thurman is hyped for obvious reasons: He has power and skill. he has beaten everyone put infront of him. cant blame him for anything. BUT the opposition he has fought is not that awesome. He is only one from the top guys who hasnt fought one of the top guys Not his fault. i just cant jump into the bandwagon before i see something from him. granted, the bundu win showed me lots of new aspects of his game. he can box. real good. But in a pure boxingmatch against khan or Brook? He would lose i believe. He is not THAT fast or THAT versatile. not that great combinations. looked kind of confused at times against bundu. he is yet to be written book in my opinion.

Brook on the other hand has only one good victory, but it was against a top level guy at the moment. Brook doesnt the kind of brute power that One Time posesses, but he has enough pop to keep guys honest and score knockouts now and then. for me he is the more complete fighter of the two AT THE MOMENT. Subjective thinking, of course.

Khan IMO is a level above of these three right now. He has had problems with his chin before, i know. but they were at lower weightclasses. nobody is blaming manny of weak chin becouse getting KO¨d and KD'd couple of times at lower classes. he has the speed and technigue that few has. I believe in khan, that is no secret.

At this point these three should fight each other, if not for the money (which is not there against Thurman) then for the bragging rights. if one of these guys was to beat one of eachother, that would be a real statement and a strong push upwards the ladder that is the welterweight division.

And as Im critizising thurman not having a big name in his resume, i do understand that you cant have these names in your resume if nobody is fighting you. These guys are too afraid of getting a loss, that they wont fight each other. The same thing in most of the weightclasses. thurman is relying in his KO's to make him a name. he cant afford to have a off-night in terms of power. khan and brook can make big bucks fighting home against B-level guys, becouse of their following at home.

Why not bring Thurman in england to fight? the money would be there, i believe. (not the kind of money Khan-Brook would make but good money)

Maidana, guerrero etc. would be good fights for all of these guys. but money, politics blah blah stand in the way. Porter also deserves a another shot at one of these guys.

hey, we have loads of competitive fights at welterweight! Lets make them happen! think about super six model in welterweight? Woooo, that would make me real excited!!

Brook will fight the winner of Dan Ion and Kevin Bizier in March I think, I can him fight Thurman somewhere down the line, but not yet.

I learn new thing every day on this board.

As for Brook vs Thurman. Bring it on then... It would be exciting.
But I guess there are two scenarios:
              1: May-Pac, Khan-Brook,
              2: May-Khan, Brook-JMM, Pac-Vargas (-.-),

So there won't be Brook-Thurman fight in the upcming months. Thurman will probably fight Chino if they can agree finally.

They eyed with Khan and JMM, I think they haven't got to fight immediately against the mando. If there is a new champion than first he has the right for non mandatory opponenet. Or I know it wrong?

Eddie and Brook love to talk about so many fighters and how Kell would beat them all but never actually fight any of them.he was mandatory for 3 years before he grew some balls to get in the ring with Porter.KELL fights again in March,im sure Thurmann will be ready but get no offer.Brook will defend against someone who's not in the top 20 and then start begging Khan for a big payday again

                    Brooks

I love when promoters, fighters or trainers claim that a fight that should happen does not because "he is not a big enough or experienced enough name yet" but then fights a no name scrub in his next fight.
