If I knew that I was better than a guy on paper, but felt that I couldn't win the fight, I wouldn't take the bout. So, I would duck someone if it was a lose-lose situation. I'd like to think that if I was an excellent fighter that I'd take all comers, but I know that if I found myself in a situation where I had little to gain and everything to lose, I'd probably avoid that situation. Arturo Gatti was mentioned, and even though he's not the best fighter in the world, he does not duck guys. That's one of the reasons I like him so much. I'm a die-hard Corrales fan, and like Gatti, he'll fight anyone. My favorite boxers are guys like Diego and Arturo that are high action fighters with questionable defense, that will fight anyone... even if the odds are against them. They've both been victimized by Floyd Mayweather, but the fact is that they were willing to take him on. Corrales has fought the best guys around for years... Mayweather, Castillo, Casamayor, Freitas, Garcia, Gainer, Manfredy, etc., and has done well with the exception of Floyd. I'd like to think that I would be that way, but I couldn't see myself battling a guy like Castillo that shaves years off your career, and has a granite chin.
Exactly, You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to DIEGO DA HITMAN again.
