gatti is a bad example, most fighters dont get offered so many fights that are guaranteed ass whoopings.. just cause he is popular on the tele means that top flight people want to fight him cause they get paid and will probably win.

a fighter of gattis talent level at another weight class would be waiting years for a title shot.

anyhow, i wouldnt duck anybody, id fight em all, if you get into boxing thinking youre gonna pick fights so you can retire undefeated then youre a ******. youre gonna lose sooner or later it may as well be to the best the world has to offer.

that being said, its not ducking if the money isnt right.

Honestly I would have to say yes b/c you might come up against a fighter that is way to dangerous for you and can seriously hurt you and your career.

while supportin ur fam
that changes everything

i wish in baseball batters could decide to have someone pinch hit for them against randy johnson so that their batting averages dont get messed up.

Depends in what I had to lose and who I would be against and my own abilities. But in all honesty I would probably do a Sven Ottke coming to think about it
