it doesn't make sense for the promoters to cancel that big of a fight (canelo-cotto) on a mexican holiday weekend when pac-floyd will be big no matter what date. however, i can see floyd not settling for any date other than what he prefers.
    they won't move from date.

too much money on the line plus hbo will back them. they've been talking about this for months.

floyd fight anyone but pac and he'll have to move dates anyway.

it's suicide to go up against canelo-cotto.

mexico's biggest star vs. puerto rico's biggest star on a mexican holiday backed by hbo?

you can't go up against that with khan or garcia.

khan's fanbase doesn't care about cinco de mayo. garcia gonna steal any PR fans from cotto?

only floyd-pac fight can beat cotto/canelo but that fight will sell any date.

and hbo is partner in any pac-floyd bout. they'd prefer cotto/canelo may 2 too.

No son, Floyd has his begging bowl out now and has nowhere to go. Time for the little TMT fairy to get some balls.

So a guy who is known for being greedy is supposed to give up the date he has fought on the last four years, the most advantageous day of the year for boxing PPVs, for what reason exactly? To help guys he already beat and has little to no fiduciary interest in?

What does that have to do with what Arum said?

Second, what is Arum's priority? Mayweather- Pacquiao or pleasing Canelo?

I don't get why it's so hard to get. People seem to suddenly care about standing up to Floyd more than they do getting the fight done. This should not even be an issue. But somehiw, some way it now makes sense to move boxings biggest fight from boxings biggest day. Wtf?

he can go up against them, i don't care.

i just went in this thread to say phil ind day was worthless idea.

but i don't think it's smart to go up against cotto/canelo if they go may 2.
