Marquez no doubt IMO.

Morales and Barerra were boxing legends and Mexican icons, but people forget, for a long time those two acted like Marquez didn't exist.

The entire boxing world pretty much ignored Marquez at that time. He was like the Rigondeux of his time.

He got labeled boring, they said he didn't fight like a Mexican, had no star power, etc etc. Morales and MAB wanted no part of him.

This is my understanding as well; he was a technician and kind of a cutie that changed to a more fan friendly style to get bigger fights.
