Both are great but Erik is more well rounded, imo. Close fight, but I prefer Morales as long as he avoid brawling.

Marquez no doubt IMO.

Morales and Barerra were boxing legends and Mexican icons, but people forget, for a long time those two acted like Marquez didn't exist.

The entire boxing world pretty much ignored Marquez at that time. He was like the Rigondeux of his time.

He got labeled boring, they said he didn't fight like a Mexican, had no star power, etc etc. Morales and MAB wanted no part of him.

I don't know about the ducking thing but Marquez had a crappy promoter. He wasn't getting too much offers. That's why he dipped and went to golden boy to fight barrera.
