You can't base it off of one fight, mayweathers 13 ppvs have averaged about 20 percent more than pacquiaos. That wouldn't be about a 55/45 split. 60/40 would mean that he does 1.5 times the amount of pacquiao and he doesn't. If you want to go off of one fight alone, pacquiao could fight canelo next year and do 2.5 million and mayweather would fight khan or whoever and do his little 800k. And then would pavquiao deserve 3x the amount then? Lol obviously not you can't judge it off one fight. Mayweather said himself algieri and maidana were totally different. Top Rank at this very moment is a sinking ship. Why in the world would Bob Arum risk having his "superstart" fighter lose to a fighter from another promotional company? Uncle Bob rather keep things in house or with small time promoters who bend over to Arum's will. It doesn't matter if Manny has to fight garbage such as chris algiero or brendon rio, Bob is going to keep repeating the same formula. A 55/45 split would actually be mayweather making a little bit more than 20 percent than pacquiao so already he would be getting more than he deserves based on ppv numbers. I could see him going as low as 60/40 which would mean mayweather making 1.5 times the amount as pacquiao even though his numbers dont nearly warrant that huge of a difference, but hey pacquiao really wants it so just suck it up and agree, he already said he would agree to that split, hes a bigger man than me because I would demand my fair share. Anything less than 60/40 and mayweather is obviously ducking because his numbers dont warrant that big of a difference over pacquio. Sadly I think Manny wants the fight so bad he would accept 65/35 which would be a slap in the face and an outrage.
