What is? Two men doing their job, which happens to be boxing, on a Mexican holiday. That's disrespectful!? I guess we should all just take time off from our jobs for a national holiday of any country, we wouldn't want to disrespect anybody.

canelo-cotto is a big fight, and canelo was promised the may date, it would be disrespectful to remove him now for two none mexicans on his date after that

That is true, but realistically, Canelo is only trying to steal the date from Floyd in the first place. He's been fighting in May for 4 years, so by that logic, that date from Canelo is disrespectful to Floyd.

Swings & rounabouts here. . . but your logic of it being disrespectful to Oscar is essentially what Arum meant. But Arum did say previously he was going to make this Floyd/Pac fight happen no matter what with no excuses. . . So which one is it going to be?

It's just Canelo wanting to steal it from Floyd. He knows he can't beat him in the ring so he's just being petty about this.

If Canelo v Cotto is such a big fight, they can fight any time too?

I'm not saying anybody had the defined right to any date. But this just seems absolutely petty by Canelo and Oscar and his team to get one over on Mayweather. Shame neither could do it in the ring when they had chance.

And i don't say this as a Floyd fan because im not particularly a fan. I've given him plenty of **** on this forum for some things he does.
