So is Amir "cannon fodder" being sent into combat on behalf of the Empire? I'm starting to gain insight into your way of thinking.

Amir Khan is a human being who won the genetic lottery by being Asian and was also entered into the land mass lottery and won the top prize of being born in Britain.

He honours his ancestors lottery wins by participating in the favoured past time of choosing his favourite creation story (although I'm sure he was more than persuaded).

I'm sure Amir has suffered more than his fair share of racism and other ignorant attitudes but doesn't indulge in them himself by hating the nationality of another human being.

What a credit to the human race, our dear Amir is.

What happens is some Brits from 200 years ago go into India, slap some peeps up and **** the land. Then people like me who're born a couple hundred years later gets lumped in with those guys 'cause we share the same nationality.

Just looking at the size of a country on its own is misleading

It's obvious a large % of the "British" talent pool come from immigrant families and are only "British" on some legal document. Were you under the impression nobody noticed this clever trick? lol

Same way the US has all these American boxers parents' are from Mexico, without them the US boxing talent pool would take a huge dive

I have a British passport but my ancestry is middle eastern and I currently live in the US... I'd hope if I ever walk on the moon or something they don't make me plant the Union Jack

All the fighters on his list were born and raised in the UK, that's very different from just carrying a British passport.

Khan may not be English, but he is British, which is not defined by blood, but by residence.
