I love when people say he has to beat you with his power. As if he is John Molina who either lands his big shots or loses the fight. When is the last time you have seen Golovkin even lose a round? He is strong but he is also a very good boxer. If any of his recent opponents could handle the power for 12 rounds he still would have won the fights 120-108.Comment

I disagree. Not that he's NOT a good boxer but it's hard to be competitive with a guy that's nearly KOing you with every shot. You get gun shy, and start giving up ground and start letting Golovkin dictate the pace.I love when people say he has to beat you with his power. You need to be able to back Golovkin up. I've seen it done a few times for a short period of time.Comment

I'd honestly call Golovkin's opposition better than Thurman's.
Geale was a former champ, Stevens was a live opponent, Macklin had been a very solid performer at the weight...Thurman has beat, Chavez? That's about it.Comment

ofcourse. i knew that. i was speaking on thurman calling alvared out. no way De la hoya lets thurman get in there with his cash cow buddy.Canelo still has Stamina problems, he isn't beating anyone with a good work-rate and decent ability to take punches...
Trout, Gomez and Lara exposed that he can be easily outboxed... and Floyd demonstrated that not only can he be outboxed... you can land first on him at will and just never let him plant his feet...Comment
