There was a point where I was literally drooling for the matchup but Cotto gains nothing out of it now. The Mayweather fight is more attractive.

Another thing to consider, it doesn't appear Cotto is that willing to go up against a Mayweather PPV on May 2nd, especially if it's May vs Pac. He's always seemed business minded. I haven't seen anything where Miguel or his team are all about May 2nd, guessing he could care less about helping Alvarez take back Cinco de Mayo weekend. Food for thought.

I prefer to see Cotto. Canelo's style is too robotic for my liking. It is almost as if Canelo has a neurological disorder that limits his footwork to Herman Munster like plodding.

If Floyd gets in the ring against Cotto again, he'll outbox him worst than first time, because u know how Floyd does on rematches, he's got Cotto figured out so it would be easier to him to deal with Cotto with or without Roach.

And Canelo vs Cotto is a 50-50 fight, stylistically wise, I see Canelo beating up Cotto bad, remember styles makes fights and Cotto doesn't have the movement nor the defense to stay away from Canelo
