The point being made was that: you complain that Thurman is calling him out after 2 straight losses, but Maidana himself has no trouble jumping in with Pacquiao. If he is ready to fight a P4P champion like Pac and say the fight doesn't happen then sure why not go back and erase that duck stain off of his career against Thurman. The subject isn't about earning ****, but ducking. Do you not get that?

Maidana pulled out of a fight against Thurman, which is way way worse than just being called out like Guerrero. There is no way spin that. Just like Khan did with Alexander last year.
you are right, maidana should wait till thurman gets beaten up to fight him, just like khan did with alexander now, fighting him after he got beaten up by porter.

........ Never, is the correct answer. Maidana aint fugging fight Thurman. Thurman will need to make a name for himself with a bigger name, he can always do this by going to 154 for a fight, fighters there will not be as reluctant as they are at 147. He could fight a big name at 154. But Thurman doesn't have the balls.

I really think a slick boxer has his way with Thurman. I think Devon Alexander would;ve beaten Thurman.
Joselito Lopez had bigger balls than Thurman. Fought Ortiz, Maidana, then went up to fight Canelo in successive fashion. He didn't take bums in between.

I'd like to see Canelo call out this One Time guy. Let's see if he steps up, or makes the same "the offer was insulting" excuse Guerrero and Porter's dad pulled, who are now accused of ducking One time.

Well, duh, of course he wasn't going to be fighting bums in between because the winner of the Lopez-Ortiz match was suppose to be fighting Canelo next anyway. At least Canelo did fight who he was suppose to fight. Maidana couldn't even do that to his own mandatory.

Guerrero ducked him, that much we do know.

Porter, I'm not entirely sure of (though it did come out of Porter's side why the fight didn't happen and not Thurman's).

Just to let you know, Thurman has expressed interest in fighting Canelo. Now here's a question; what if Canelo calls out Thurman AFTER moving up to middleweight?

Yes it's easy for a fighter like Lopez who is in no way considered a threat to get fights against the very same names that Thurman who is considered a threat, has attempted to fight. I mean what a ridiculous statement.

Guerrero claimed he was not offered enough yet he took a fight against another opponent for far less. And I haven't looked into it but I'm sure you would find the same thing with Porter.

LOL, Alexander was already beaten and has a history of quitting. Porter beating him didn't add or reduce the risk level like it would if Thurman got beat, because people will learn how to beat him better. Your logic is flawed, but I don't blame you especially since your guy who had a reputation of himself being a feared puncher running away like that.

if alexander being beaten by porter doesn't change anything, why fighting him now, and not last year? don't come with "floyd told him not to..."

maidana runs? and what about khan?

Don't Question Thurman; He'll Fight Anyone-Haymon Is The Potential Problem

Thurman will fight anyone. He's mentioned Floyd, Khan, Guerrero, Brook, Maidana. Haymon is a pimp hoarding more than 120 fighters to his authority and only Haymon makes the picks for who. Haymon wouldn't let Danny Garcia & Lamont Peterson fight to unify and they fought two tomato cans that SHO graced us with. Then we were led to believe they'd fight in December and as we see, not happening again. Danny Garcia wouldn't speak up; just said like a good hooker, "I just fight (blow) who Haymon puts in front of me." Hence, Haymon and his partnership with SHO/Espinoza put on herrendous fights in 2014, expect the same in '15 of his guarded brothel of fighters. Thurman and others really wanting the biggest fights, will tire of Haymon sooner than later.

Isn't it obvious why now? Alexander wanted a break after his Dec 2013 loss and a tune up which happened in June. Khan had already fought in May. Basic stuff.

Also have I already not consistently admitted (especially to you) even before this fight was signed that Khan ducked Alexander to maximize his chances of getting Floyd?

so this guys can have tune ups and chances to maximize their chances of getting a big fight, but when someone else does it, is wrong?
