Andre Ward (He and Froch were my 2 favorite fighters going into the year. I'm not even a fan of Ward anymore)
Leo Santa Cruz (I'm barely hanging on as a fan of his. He had an awful year with an even worse fight than the Garcia/Salka nonsense)
Adonis Stevenson (His f*gtrionics speak for themselves)
Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse (They were the co-feature of the biggest PPV in 6 years last year. Both looked bad in tuneups, and both took even easier fights to make up for it, accomplishing nothing)
Mikey Garcia (Come on, get in the ****ing ring, man)
Abner Mares (This should have been a busy rebuilding year. What the hell is he doing?)
Ruslan Provodnikov (Really? Castillo?)
I could name more, but I'll stop. 2014 ******.
Uchiyama, the guy rated above him at 130, hasn't been in the ring since New Years Eve 2013 sadly
As a Uchiyama fan i'd be a hypocrite to bash Mikey for inactivity, when he's fought more recently than Uchiyama
Which fighters let you down? Whether bad performance(s) or losses, who were they?
For me:
Shawn Porter (Came home from work to watch a recording of the Brook defense..)
Danny Garcia (Horrible 2014)
Nonito Donaire (It was good while it lasted..)
Erislandy Lara (Not a big fan, but I thought he could of wrecked Canelo)
Easily Rigo. He is fighting D level bums for short money with new awful management team. He talked all that trash about moving up to FW and then still hasn't. Another wasted year for this 34 year pro who has 14 fights in 5.5. years as a pro.
All the Rigotards were on here talking junk about Chris Avalos and how he was "scared to fight Rigo." He was going to get $ 79 K for that fight. I bet he is getting more for the Frampton fight.
I've been disappointed in all fighters pretty much except the following:
Keith Thurman
Sergey Kovalev
Roman Gonzalez
Nicholas Walters
Kell Brook
GGG - forgive him for his sacklicking moronic fanboys... Prime Roy makes easy work of him
